Homepage Component Spacing Issues

An issue which caused incorrect spacing around the [Homepage] Statistics and [Homepage] Student Quotes components has been resolved.
The issue was reported when a user placed a [Homepage] Statistics component after a Page Intro + Highlights component, at which point the two components overlapped. The Crimson CSS applies padding between these two components to prevent overlap, but under specific conditions the template was placing an empty paragraph before and after the [Homepage] Statistics component, so the CSS rule did not apply.
On further investigation, the same issue was found in the [Homepage] Student Quotes component. It was determined that both components were originally implemented as snippets, and the issue was specifically related to that conversion process. Therefore, the fix may also apply to any of the snippets in the system, though it is much less likely that the problem would arise in a snippet due to the way they are inserted into a PCF.
Action Required
If your site uses the [Homepage] Statistics or [Homepage] Student Quotes component, you will need to check the spacing around these components before publishing the page(s) again. It's possible that custom CSS or some other work-around was applied and the spacing around the components may change.
To help facilitate this, the list of pages which used these components at the time of this change will be published in the #modern-campus-cms channel in SDSU's Slack instance.
