Last Modified Timestamp Added to Page Metadata

A last-modified meta tag has been added to the common page template. Some systems (e.g. Element451 Chatbot) can use this information to determine whether to scan the page for content updates.

It should be noted that the date/time provided here is based on the last time changes to the content were saved in the CMS, which may be different from when those changes were published to the web servers.

Action Required

All users who wish to make use of this functionality will need to republish any pages they want to include the new meta element. As indicated above, the last-modified date/time will reflect the last time changes to the content were saved. If you have changes that you don't wish to publish yet, but want the last-modified meta tag added to the currently-published version of the page, you can use the Use Last Published Version option that is available when publishing multiple pages.
