Focus Behavior Fixed on Components/Snippets with IDs and the "Skip to content" Link

A manual accessibility evaluation of the SDSU homepage conducted by a firm contracted by the CSU found an error in the behavior of the "Skip to content" link included on all pages in the Crimson templates. While fixing this issue, we found a related issue with all components and snippets which have an ID assigned to them, so we have updated the templates and JavaScript to address both issues.
Action Required
All pages in the Crimson templates will need to be republished. If doing this all at once represents an undue burden, we recommend prioritizing the effort based on traffic data. We would also recommend prioritizing each site's homepage even if it is not a particularly high-traffic page relative to other areas of the site.
Additionally, if you have any pages which rely on the use of component/snippet IDs as link targets, those pages should be republished as soon as possible.
(For CMS administrators: please do not use the Site Publish option. We only need the pages on the site republished, not supporting code and images/documents/videos.)
If you would like help republishing the pages on your site, please open a ticket in ServiceNow by navigating to Request a Service > Web Services > Modern Campus CMS > General Site/Page Update Request - Modern Campus CMS.
